All students are expected to arrive and leave residence halls on the officially designated dates. Students who wish to occupy their rooms early must contact the Dean of Students Office for special permission. Students will be charged additional room fees for arriving early and staying late.
Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer Housing
All residence halls close between the fall and winter terms. All students wanting to stay on campus over winter break, spring break, or summer break should contact the Campus Life Office. International students have special permission to stay on campus. Limited student housing is available for a fee during the summer for students participating in approved academic work or who are holding a campus job.
Students are required to leave campus during vacation periods and at the end of the academic year. Residence halls close officially within 24 hours of the final day of exams. Students must leave their residence hall rooms within 24 hours after completing their last final exam each term. Exceptions to this rule must be cleared with the Campus Life Office. Students who have been given permission to stay may be charged additional room fees.
When you vacate your room, during or at the end of the school year, it should be left in a condition consistent with the standards of the College. Students will be charged if rooms and suite areas are not free of debris and vacuumed. All furniture and bed parts that may have been removed from rooms or suites must be returned to their original locations . Failure to do so will result in fees being assessed.
All keys must be returned to Campus Safety in the Administrative Services Center.
