Instructions for Faculty and Staff Using College-Owned Machines
STEP 1: Set your security questions
All Knox faculty and staff must set their password security questions and answers before attempting to reset passwords. Failure to set your questions will prevent you from resetting your password from off campus and/or without the assistance of our help desk. Password resets are handled by the help desk on "as time allows" basis. If you have already set your security questions, skip this step.
STEP 2: Reset your password
Instructions for resetting network passwords depend on the type of computer and network connection you have. Choose the link below that corresponds to your computer set-up to proceed:
- Windows desktop or laptop with wired connection (Applies for most campus desktops and laptops with docking stations)
- Mac OS X desktop or laptop
- Windows desktop or laptop with wireless connection only (Applies for very few campus machines. If you are uncertain, please call the help desk at extension 7700.)
