Welcome to the Knox College Health & Counseling Center!

The Health & Counseling Center offers medical and mental health services to enrolled Knox College students. It is our belief that physical and mental wellness is important in achieving a well-rounded academic experience. Throughout the academic year, we offer a variety of services, including; treatment for cold/flu/sore throat symptoms, minor acute injuries, asthma treatment, mild allergic reactions, earaches, individual counseling, group counseling, outreach services, along with other medical and mental health services. All of our services are confidential and geared towards promotion of overall wellness through quality of care and education.

Emergency Information

In the event of a healthcare emergency, call 9-1-1 for an ambulance to take you to the emergency room at either OSF St. Mary Medical Center or Cottage Hospital, both in Galesburg.

For a mental health related emergency (during normal business hours), head on over to the Counseling Center. Your safety is our #1 concern. If you feel like you are in an emergency situation, please reach out. Do not hesitate. We look forward to seeing you. If you are not able to physically come to the Counseling Center, contact 9-1-1 or Campus Safety at 309-341-7979.
