Knox College offers a rich variety of artistic and cultural programming for both the campus and the wider community: performances, exhibits, concerts, and lectures. Independent and community-based arts programs are hosted at Knox, including the award-winning Knox-Galesburg Symphony, Nova Singers, and Knox-Rootabaga Jazz.

The Box Gallery offers a community-based venue for Knox students and faculty to engage with the larger community over the arts. In addition, the Box and campus venues are available to local arts groups and events. Each summer the Box Gallery hosts the Studios Midwest Artists Residency program, as well as exhibits by local artists.

Knox's Ford Center for the Fine Arts is home to both Harbach Theatre and Studio Theatre. Harbach Theatre hosts three mainstage productions each year. Studio Theatre offers a variety of black box theatre performaces throughout the year.
