The Kleine Center for Community Service manages a wide range of engagement opportunities, including volunteer service, charitable activities, and community outreach designed for students, faculty, and staff at Knox College.

Get involved in Galesburg!

For new and returning students, faculty, staff, and friends - 

Engage Galesburg: Go out into the local community to volunteer with our community partners: City of Galesburg Parks & Rec,Discovery Depot Children's Museum, Galesburg Civic Art Center, Galesburg Public Library, Habitat for Humanity of Knox County, Prairie Players Civic Theatre, Purple Hanger, United Way of Knox County, Kiwanis Club of Galesburg and the Knox College Sustainability Office.

Explore Galesburg: Excursions include a bike tour, an arts & culture tour, and a local food systems tour. A bus will also be going to Green Oaks, where you can tour the biological field station.

All excursions depart from CFA Lobby at noon.
