We are pleased to announce that beginning in 2013, Knox College will offer scholarships toward the cost of tuition at Knox College to recognize students who excel in WYSE Sectional Competitions.
Students who finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in overall competition (among all competitors, across all divisions) at the Knox College Sectional will be eligible for a $2,000 annual award for each qualifying examination.
Participants in a WYSE Sectional Competition held on any campus who qualify to advance to State Competition are eligible for a $1,000 annual award for each qualifying examination.
Competitors can earn an award in each of two subject areas in each year of WYSE competition. To receive your WYSE Scholarship, you must complete an application for first-year admission and notify us of your eligibility for a WYSE Scholarship in your application. Click here for more information.
The Sharvy G. Umbeck Science-Mathematics Center is at the corner of South and Academy streets. Parking for vans and cars is available in the two parking lots adjacent to the Umbeck Center, and on Academy, Berrien, and West Streets (including in areas marked "permit only"). Buses are recommended to park either on Academy Street or in the lot on the southeast corner of campus opposite the Fleming Field House
Students and coaches can enjoy the convenient all-you-can-eat buffet on campus in the Hard Knox Café in Seymour Union. The buffet will feature Buffalo wings and fries, a build-your-own taco bar, salad bar, pizza, desserts choices, and drinks at a cost of $5 per person. Each school dining in the Hard Knox Café will receive one complimentary coach's meal. Lunches must be reserved and pre-paid at the time of competition registration. To reserve lunches, please send checks payable to Knox College to:

Advancing teams should register online by 5:00pm on March 8th, at the WYSE website by following this link: https://wyse.engr.illinois.edu/wyse2013/coach/. A password for the registration site will be e-mailed to you at the conclusion of your Regional competition. If you did not receive or have lost your password, please e-mail wyse@knox.edu.
Access to the registration site will be restricted after March 8th. If you need to make roster changes after this date, please e-mail wyse@knox.edu.
