The Multicultural Student Orientation (MSO) began in the summer of 2000 as a student-driven initiative. Multicultural students, who were mostly members of the African American and Latino Student Unions, felt that an orientation would aid in your success and help you feel like a part of the Knox and Galesburg communities. The orientation would also give you the opportunity to meet current multicultural students, faculty, and staff and learn about the Galesburg community.
Due to the success of the Multicultural Student Orientation, this supplemental program lives on. Current students, who volunteered to be orientation leaders, will be greatly involved in the organization of the MSO 2011 schedule. These students look forward to meeting you and implementing the activities in the summer of 2011.

| 8 p.m. | Explore the Cultural Houses: Enjoy fun and games with your new friends as you learn about the five cultural houses on campus: A.B.L.E. Center, Casa Latina, International House, Asian Culture House, and Harambee House. |
