Knox College offers optional supplementary insurance to cover basic accident and sickness as well as group insurance to cover student-athletes. All students must be covered by either a private health insurance plan or the supplemental student insurance offered by Knox.
The supplemental insurance plans offered by the College are optional. However, every student must be covered by a personal health insurance plan, either a private plan or one of the supplemental student insurance plans offered by Knox. There are two plans to choose from Plan A or Plan B.
A fee of $125 for the Plan A insurance (Plan B at $176 for International students) will be assessed when students register for their Spring/Summer term of the academic year. Students who provide certification of equivalent insurance by returning the Student Insurance Application/Waiver Card to the Insurance Office by April 6, 2012 may have the assessment removed from their fees.
Questions about the student health insurance should be directed to the Student Health Services Coordinator, in the Office of Student Development, at 309-341-7863.
