Campus Mail

Your Campus Mailbox
The mailbox assigned to you when you first come to Knox will be your mailbox for as long as you are enrolled at Knox. Contact Postal Services if you have problems with your box.

To open your mailbox (Example combination: JA, EF, H):
     Turn right three times to JA 
     Turn left and stop the second time at EF 
     Turn right to H 
     Turn latch key left to open

In addition to distributing U.S. and courier-delivered mail, Postal Services also distributes intra-campus mail -- items sent from one person or office to another.

Special notes

• Postal Services is required to handle US Mail prior to the handling of campus mail.
• Campus mail should include the sender’s return address and the recipient’s campus box number. 
• Improperly addressed campus mail will be delayed in handling, at the very least, and may not be delivered.
• Campus mail that doesn’t fit in a mailbox is held in the Mailroom and a notice is put in the recipient’s mailbox.
• A signature is required for pickup.

Bulk mail on campus
Campus organizations wishing to stuff mailboxes must make arrangements with the mailroom supervisor, ext. 7152, prior to distribution.
