Printing
Knox College provides multiple printing options to students, faculty, and staff on campus. Capabilities on campus include: grayscale and color printing, large scale poster printing, copy, fax, scan to email, and network printing. All black and white printing costs 5 cents a page and 25 cents for color.
Student Printing
Students are given a printing allowance of $15 or 300 black and white pages a term. Students that exceed their allowance for the term will be billed for the difference by the Knox College Business Office.
Special printing for clubs and student organizations can be authorized by your organization's advisor or appropriate club officer to be reimbursed from the organization's budget. Students seeking reimbursement for club/organization printing should speak with the Campus Life office.

Faculty and Staff Printing
Knox faculty and staff are able to take advantage of all public printers and faxes. Print billing is totaled on a per department basis.
Poster Printing
The ITS Help Desk is capable of printing large scale posters for academic purposes. All print jobs should be submitted to the Help Desk at least 24 hours before pickup. Please send posters to the help desk as: .pdf, .psd, or .pub file types and formatted to the size you want it to be printed in. Posters printed for student coursework will generally not carry a printing fee. Contact the Help Desk with questions regarding poster printing or in regards to any fees for non-coursework related posters. In the interests of saving ink please do not design posters with predominantly black or dark backgrounds.
Network Printing
Network printing allows students, faculty, and staff to print from their local computer to many different college printers connected to the Knox network. Before sending a print job it is a good idea to make sure the printer is online and functioning. If you send a job to a distant printer, please go and pick up your prints in a timely manner.
