Resetting Passwords

College-owned Macintosh OS X Computers

NOTE: Be prepared to immediately change saved passwords on any other devices on which your Knox password is saved. Failure to do so will result in a lockout of your account as these devices will repeatedly attempt to use your old password.

 Systems with wired network (cable) connections:

1. Change your password on the Password change page.
2. Go to any network resource and you will be prompted to use your new password.

Systems with wireless network connections:

1. Change your password on the Password change page.
2. Turn wireless off then on. You will be prompted for your new password. Enter your new password.
3. Go to any network resource and you will be prompted to use your new password.
