Knox College offers numerous classroom and laboratory venues for projecting presentations from a personal computer. There are 41 classrooms and three computer labs on campus equipped with projection equipment that is ready for use. Whenever possible, presentations should be scheduled in one of these classrooms and presenters should use the computers already installed. By doing so there is a much narrower margin for problems.
Using Knox Computers
Presentations, images, video, etc. can be transferred to a classroom computer using USB, a Knox network account, or via CD or DVD. A Knox user will need to log in to the computer for the presenter.
One of our user services' staff will be happy to meet with you and/or the visitor in the classroom prior to the presentation (between the hours of 8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday) to do a test run and answer any questions you may have.
