Wired Connections

For students desiring a wired port, the College offers wired ethernet ports for an additional fee of $100 per year. This fee is not pro-rated by term.

To request a wired port, contact the Help Desk at ext. 7700. Please be prepared to provide the following information:

• Name
• Room Number
• Device Type: Computer, Game Console, etc.
• The MAC address of the device.
• Your Knox College ID number (for billing purposes)

The Help Desk will relay the request to our network technicians. The request may take 2-3 days to complete as this action requires visting the residence hall, cabling, and switch configuration.
