Knox College works with student organizations to encourage students to vote and to provide them with registration information throughout the year. For more information, or to plan a registration drive on campus, contact Karrie Heartlein, director of government & community relations, at firstname.lastname@example.org
Students have the unique opportunity to choose whether to vote at home or at school. Countmore.org can help you see where your vote can make more difference.
Voters may complete the registration form in person at the election office in the Galesburg City Hall, 55 W. Tompkins St. (First Floor). The form must be returned to the Election Commission office, or with a postmark, no later than the registration deadline (28 days prior to an election) in order for the registrant to vote in the next election. More information is available at the Election Commission website. This site also provides voters with information about precincts, poll location, elections schedules and candidates.
All voters are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the candidates and issues on the ballot. View the Galesburg ballot (PDF).
