Fire Statistics

The Knox College Department of Campus Safety will annually provide fire statistics on the following fire categories for inclusion in the annual crime and fire safety report. That information has been included with this document but may also be accessed in the chart below. The fire statistics report will include the following information:

• The number of fires and the cause of each fire
• The number of deaths related to fire
• The number of injuries related to the fire that resulted in treatment at a medical facility
• The value of the property damage related to the fire
  

Annual Safety and Security Survey Report The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is the federal law, originally known as the Campus Security Act, that requires colleges and universities across the United States to disclose information about crimes, hate crimes, and fires that take place on and around their campuses.
