Campus Safety

The Department of Campus Safety, located in the Administrative Service Center (ASC) Building at 368 S. Prairie Street, provides service to the campus on a 24-hour, seven day per week schedule. The department remains dedicated to developing and maintaining a safe and secure campus through the individual efforts of each officer and in cooperation with the other campus departments and community organizations.

Campus Safety understands the academic mission of the College and seeks to remain a vital part of that mission. A sincere concern for the community's well being, quality of academic life, a desire to provide the best service and assistance where possible, and an ongoing desire to support the academic efforts of the Knox students, faculty, and staff are a critical part of our department's daily operations and philosophy.

Annual Safety and Security Survey The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is the federal law, originally known as the Campus Security Act, that requires colleges and universities across the United States to disclose information about crimes, hate crimes, and fires that take place on and around their campuses.
