Fulbright Grants for Study Abroad

Field Studies in Tanzania

The ACM Tanzania: Ecology & Human Origins program offers adaptable students the exciting opportunity to conduct field work in some of the world's greatest paleoanthropological and ecological sites, and to immerse themselves in Tanzanian language and culture This program is best suited for students with an interest in Animal Behavior, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Geology, Medical Anthropology, and Archaeology.

Flensburg Program
Presented by Professor Todd Heidt
This session will introduce students to opportunities at our exchange partner, the University of Flensburg. At the U of Flensberg, Knox students have taken coursework in areas as diverse as German culture, philosphy, Environmental Studies, and Textile and Fashion Design. We will also discuss study abroad opportunities in Berlin with IES. Feel free to come and request information on Fulbright awards to Germany and Austria, research and internships in Germany, and more.

The Kemper Scholars Program (First-year students)
Presented by Professors John A. Spittell and current Kemper Scholars
The Kemper Scholars Program prepares students for leadership and service, especially in the fields of administration and business. The Foundation believes that undergraduate study of the liberal arts offers the best preparation for life and career; thus the program aims to promote education in the liberal arts while providing opportunities for career exploration, practical experience, and professional growth. Kemper Scholars receive significant financial assistance, summer project and internship assistance, and mentoring. Only 15 colleges and universities are invited participants in this program. Each year Kemper awards a Scholarship to one student from each participating institution. Applications are only available to first-year students.

The Career Center is hosting its annual Graduate & Professional School Fair on Wednesday, October 24. Representatives from over 55 graduate programs will be in the Lincoln Room in Seymour from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to talk with students interested in learning more about admissions into their programs their institutions offers, and information about the application process and the typical candidate that applies to their program. Feel free to come by the Lincoln Room to chat about your graduate school options.
