More on Choosing Courses
| Generally, 100-level courses don't have prerequisites. Some higher number courses also may not have prerequisites. Information about prerequisites is contained with each course description in the Catalog.
Most classes are offered during the day, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. is reserved for co-curricular activities, such as athletics and music ensemble rehearsals. There are a small number of classes each term scheduled for evening hours, but other courses may occasionally schedule study or review sessions in the evenings.
Full-time student status requires registration for a minimum of 2.5 credits each term.
During the first week of each term, you can change your registration by dropping or adding a course without penalty. (Your transcript will show no record of your having registered for a course you "drop.") It's also possible to "withdraw" from a course without penalty up to the eighth week of the term; your transcript will show that you registered for a course, but later withdrew. But be careful; withdrawing late in the term can put you below the minimum credits for fulltime status. (See Academic Support).
