Knox Celebrates Black History Month

Knox College celebrates Black History Month with public and campus events during the month of February 2016:

Songs of Slaves: A Discussion with Stacey Gibbs. Free admission.
Wednesday, February 3, 7:00 p.m., Kresge Hall, Ford Center for the Fine Arts
Sponsored by Knox College Choir, Music Department and Center for Intercultural Life.

TJ Jarrett: Writer and software developer in Nashville, Tennessee, will read from her own works. Free admission.
Friday, February 5, 2016 4:00 p.m., Alumni Room, Old Main.
Sponsored by the Caxton Club

NAACP Gala: Semi-formal dinner, dance, awards ceremony, and silent auction. Tickets $30 for the general public.
Saturday, February 6, at 6:00 p.m., Seymour Union.
