Knox College 4 Kids 2016

Students at Knox College for Kids 2015

Knox College 4 Kids is back for 2016 with new program directors, new classes, and new scholarships.

The summer enrichment program runs from June 20 to July 1 for students entering grades three through nine. This year's program features over 35 courses taught by Knox faculty, master teachers from area schools, professionals, and Knox College students who serve as teachers or teaching assistants.

New courses this year include "Use the Force!" in which students learn stage combat and acting skills, and "Math and Basketball," which uses the sport to teach basic mathematical principles. There are also new choir classes and a group of classes based on the Harry Potter series.

Knox College 4 Kids is being organized by Knox College's Education Department. The program costs $150. Students who receive free or reduced lunch at school qualify for one of 120 scholarships that  reduce the program cost to $75.

Applications and information about the program, including course descriptions, can be found on the Knox College 4 Kids webpage. Applications will be accepted through the end of May.
