As a non-traditional student, you're an important member of the Knox community who brings unique insight to the classroom and beyond.

This supplemental orientation is designed to ease your transition to academic life at Knox. We also encourage you to attend as many New Student Orientation events as possible. In the meantime, learn more about our Non-Traditional Students Club!

Who is a "non-traditional" Knox student? They are typically older than "traditional" college students, though some may be recent high school graduates from the Galesburg region who live at home and commute to Knox. Others might have one or more years of life experience since high school or are beginning a career transition. Some non-traditional students are married while working part-time jobs and supporting their families.
