Donna Workman was a social activist and Chicago business woman. Inspired by Carl Sandburg and their mutual admiration for Abraham Lincoln, she assembled a collection of the books read by Lincoln while he was growing up and as a mature man. The collection provides a intriguing look into the influences and preferences of one of America's most significant historical figures.
