We are Knox. We are a community made up of faculty and staff who make a difference in the lives of Knox students every day. We are proud of the work we do to educate, mentor, stimulate, nourish, protect and provide for our students.
We're at 57%participation. |
Why give to Knox?
We all give of our time, but we can also support Knox financially. Whether your gift is designated to go to the Knox Fund, scholarships and financial aid, faculty and academic programs, library resources, computing and technology, or student activities and athletics -- it all goes to make the best possible experience for our students!
Who benefits from my gift?
THE STUDENTS! Tuition doesn't cover it all. Private gifts and grants are the second highest source of income for the College. Your gift will provide immediate support for our students.
How much do I need to give?
Every dollar makes a difference. Whatever you can give is meaningful and can have a great impact when it is joined with contributions from the entire Knox community.
How do I give?
One of the easiest ways to give is through payroll deduction. On the pledge card in the link below is a chart showing what various deductions will amount to over a year. Once you have filled out the pledge card, send it to the Office of Advancement, Box K-230.

You can make a difference by joining the Faculty Staff Campaign Committee!
Every year, a small dedicated committee of Knox faculty and staff joins together to raise awareness among their colleagues of the financial needs of our students and the importance of institutional self-confidence through participation to the Knox Fund. Their efforts make a difference at Knox! Current committee members are:
Chuck Schulz (Chair), Tim Kasser, Tianna Cervantez, Pinky Gibbons, Pat Pendergast, Becky Canfield, Monica Berlin, Stephen Schroth, Michael Schneider, Colleen Culbertson, Andy Gibbons, Roxanne Ronk, Nikki Malley, Linda Dybas, Andy Mehl, Kevin Hastings, Tanna Cullen, Ross Davis, Jeri Candor, Julie Layer

| "I give to Knox because I want very much for future students, faculty, and staff to have the same wonderful experience I have had here. As a student and a faculty member I've been enriched and grown so much through my relationships with mentors, colleagues on the faculty, and all who live and work in this community. This jewel of a college needs to be nurtured to thrive as it should, and I'm happy to do my part." -- Chuck Schulz '72, professor of physics |
"I give to Knox because I work with students who remind me of myself when I was a student at this college every day. Students who are first-generation, low-income and looking for the support that they need to be the success that they want to be and can be. Someone believed in me as a student and supported me financially through scholarship funds. Giving to the Knox Fund, in support of financial aid, I am able to do the same for the students here now. It is another way that I can give back to a place that gave me so much." -- Tianna Cervantez '06, director of multicultural student advisement |
"As a professor at Knox for 15 years, I've seen over and over how a Knox education helps students think more clearly and become more engaged in the world around them. And I've seen how Knox's commitment to keep this kind of education affordable can change the lives of first-generation college students. These are some of the main reasons why my wife Ginny and I include Knox College among the organizations to which we donate." -- Tim Kasser, professor of psychology | I donate to scholarships. I figure every little bit helps put one of our students through another year of College. That makes me feel good. That's how I can give back to Knox. -- Jo Ann Gibbons, food service supervisor |
