Honor Roll of Donors 2010

During another tough economic year, Knox's donors -- alumni, parents, and friends -- donated more than $3 million for the Knox Fund last fiscal year (July 1, 2009-June 30, 2010). Gifts for the annual operations of the College totaled $3,033,449 against a goal of $2.85 million. This is the second largest amount ever donated to the Knox Fund, and the only time the College raised more than $3 million for the Knox Fund outside of a comprehensive campaign. Because of your generosity, total fundraising exceeded $10 million, nearly $4 million more than last year.

What's so amazing about this result is that these gifts came from fewer donors, a trend that occurred at many institutions. After setting a record in alumni participation last year with 5,500 alumni donors, 4,900 alumni gave to Knox this year. Total donors were close to 9,000, compared to 9,400
last year.
