George Davis Hall is the headquarters for anthropology, sociology, economics, political science, languages and educational studies at Knox College. It also houses a specialized computer lab -- the Dorothy Johnson '39 and Richard Burkhardt '39 Language Center.
Also in Davis Hall is the International News Room, where students and faculty can keep track of news broadcasts from around the world. The College's student-operated radio station, WVKC, occupies the fourth floor with its studios and digital production facilities.
Fifteen Knox College students were awarded grants from Knox's REACH Fellows Program to work as teaching assistants with this year's session of Knox College4Kids.
Knox College student Eleanor Poley recently won first place in a computer programming research competition. Poley's project is "RUMU Editor: A Non-WYSIWYG Web Editor for Non-Technical Users."
Two Knox College students have been selected for the prestigious Kemper Scholars Program. Hannah Basil and Anna Novikova will receive scholarships, leadership and business experiences, and summer internships.
