In keeping with Knox's endless amount of literary outlets and publications, The Common Room is another publication sponsored by Knox's English Department.

The Common Room is a bi-annual electronic journal devoted to publishing critical essays by students on literature from any disciplinary area. There are two formal calls for essay submissions during the academic year.

Any Knox student can submit work to the journal for publication consideration. Students are encouraged to make submissions and contribute to yet another aspect of the literary community on campus.
