Commencement Weekend June 3-5, 2016
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!
Knox faculty and staff are here to help you and your family prepare for the big day. This page will guide you through the essentials -- from getting your cap and gown to finalizing paperwork with the Registrar.
Caps and gowns are required for graduates walking in the ceremony. Caps & gowns can be ordered online at With Honors Graduation Services. Students will pick up the items they order at the Almost There Fair on Wednesday, April 6, 2016.
Caps & gowns are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, saving an average of 23 plastic bottles (per cap/gown) from the landfill.
Commencement rehearsal will happen at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, on the South Lawn of Old Main. It is mandatory if you plan to participate in the Commencement ceremony on Sunday, June 5. The severe weather location is T. Fleming Fieldhouse.

Tickets are only required if the ceremony is moved indoors (T. Fleming Fieldhouse) due to severe weather. You can receive up to 10 free tickets, which will be distributed during Senior Week from Alumni Relations (located in Alumni Hall) -- Watch for an e-mail the week before Senior Week. A picnic lunch will be served after the ceremony on the South Lawn. Tickets will be be available for purchase after the spring term begins.
