Commencement Schedule

We have a variety of exciting events lined up for Commencement weekend, including Senior Pumphandle and a Senior Celebration for family and friends with live music and fireworks after the Commencement ceremony. See the schedule below. Be sure to check back often, since these pages are updated as more information becomes available.

Saturday, May 30

12:00 p.m.—Lavender Graduation, honoring the achievements and contributions of LGBTQ+ and allied students (open to all), Kresge Recital Hall in Ford Center for the Fine Arts

Friday, June 5

11:00 a.m.—Senior Toast, Petrovich Atrium in Alumni Hall

12:00 p.m.—Senior Student Lunch with Faculty 

1:30 p.m.—Senior Pumphandle, West Lawn of Old Main 

Saturday, June 6 

1:00 p.m.—Phi Beta Kappa Induction Ceremony, Lincoln Room in Seymour Union

2:15 p.m.—First Generation Celebration, Petrovich Atrium in Alumni Hall

3:30 p.m.—Senior Prizes and Awards, Kresge Recital Hall in Ford Center for the Fine Arts

7:00-10:00 p.m.—Senior Celebration with Family and Friends, Live Music and Fireworks on the South Lawn of Seymour Union 

Sunday, June 7

10:00 a.m.—Commencement, South Lawn of Old Main

The Knox Shop

The Knox Shop will be open with extended hours during Commencement weekend: 

Saturday, June 6—9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 7—9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Regular hours: 

Monday-Friday—11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
