We have a variety of exciting events lined up for Commencement Week, including special festivities for seniors, fireworks, jazz night, a dessert reception with the president, and a picnic lunch after the Commencement ceremony.

Immediately following Pumphandle, join the Knox community for a tribute to the senior class, with a toast given by a surprise toastmaster and the announcement of the Senior Challenge results.

Seniors are invited to enjoy lunch with Knox faculty.

The Commencement ceremony is held outside. Seating is open, so arrive early to grab your seats! Read more about the speaker and honorary degree recipients. (Severe weather location: T. Fleming Fieldhouse. The Fieldhouse will be utilized only in the event of serious inclement weather. Tickets are only required if the ceremony is moved indoors.)
South Lawn of Old Main
12:00 p.m. Picnic Lunch (lunch ticket required)
A picnic lunch will be served, and tickets can be purchased online. Attendance is limited to graduates, their families, trustees, faculty, staff, and invited guests with previously purchased lunch tickets. You are also welcome to eat lunch off campus at one of many Galesburg restaurants. (Severe weather location: Seymour Union)
Lawn South of Seymour Union
5:00 p.m. Concert on the Lawn
This free outdoor concert is open to the public and features the award-winning Knox-Galesburg Symphony under the direction of conductor Bruce Polay. (Severe weather location: T. Fleming Fieldhouse)

Sunday, June 9
Seniors check out of their dorm/apartment by 1:00 p.m. Please turn in keys to Campus Security.
