Center for Career & Pre-Professional Development

The Center for Career and Pre-Professional Development prepares students for their professional or academic careers after graduation, and for a life of citizenship and leadership. The Center combines counseling with a library of career planning and job search resources, and is committed to strengthening connections between students, faculty, alumni, and employers. The Center is part of the Office of Student Development.
Student Resources

It's never too early to begin the career development process. Our resources and services are open to all students. We particularly encourage all juniors to have completed a resume and to have identified career goals by the end of spring term.

Entering the Job Market: The more defined your career plan, the easier your job search will be. The Center provides counseling to help define your goals, and hands-on support and resources for exploring your career options and landing the right job.

Alumni

Knox Alumni can access all Center resources, and are welcome to make use of the Center's library and computer resources when on campus. The Center also handles requests to forward credentials to employers and graduate schools.

Employers

The Center welcomes potential recruiters to Knox. We coordinate on-campus interviewing and recruiting, luncheons, and distribution of employment literature.
