Quiz bowl is a game in which one must rely on quick thinking, fast reflexes, and, most importantly, knowledge of a variety of academic subjects. It is important for quiz bowl players to be able to connect the concepts and facts which they learn in the classroom to the questions which are posed in this competitive environment.
Knox College Quiz Bowl seeks to be a worthy representative of the college in such competitions. We seek to use knowledge acquired in the classroom to excel, and we never shoot for anything less than first place. We hold weekly practices on campus, and plan on attending between three and five tournaments each academic year.
