Whether renovating Knox's historic buildings like Alumni Hall, adding new facilities to the campus, such as the new state-of-the-art E. & L. Andrew Fitness Center, or enhancing classrooms and laboratories to make them special centers of learning, Knox is building and improving the campus to keep pace with the changing needs of faculty and students. New or renovated buildings and enhanced teaching spaces are the direct result of the generous support of donors.

The College's current priorities for enhancing campus facilities and buildings are:

Alumni Hall -- The renovation of century-old Alumni Hall will enrich the life of the Knox campus and the surrounding community with a beautiful, state-of-the-art venue for cultural events, classes and social interaction. The building's vast central auditorium, exposed as a result of the interior demolition completed as part of the preliminary phase of the renovation, is only one of the many special spaces that will be restored to new life as Alumni Hall reassumes its vitality and central position in the life of the campus.

Fitness & Athletics Initiatives -- A group of 11 potential projects to expand and enhance campus fitness and athletics facilities. A $2.4 million state-of-the-art fitness center on the west side of Memorial Gymnasium is now open. A sprinkler system was added to T. Fleming Fieldhouse in summer 2005, making the building usable for campus and public events. Knox's outdoor track and field complex at Trevor Field has also been completed, and the newly renovated soccer facilities were dedicated and named Jorge Prats Field during Homecoming on October 20, 2007. Renovations of the Knox Bowl and Memorial Gymnasium are underway.
