Financial Aid for International Students

For highly qualified students with limited financial means, Knox offers financial aid and scholarships. U.S. citizens and permanent residents (no matter where they live in the world) who demonstrate financial need are eligible for federal grants and loans, in addition to Knox grant assistance and designated scholarships.

For non-U.S. citizens who demonstrate financial need and exceptional academic promise, Knox has a limited scholarship program. These scholarships are generally limited to no more than one-half of our comprehensive fee. (Full-tuition awards are not available.) To be considered for admission with financial assistance, you must return the Financial Aid Application for International Students (PDF) with your application for admission.

When making a four-year plan to attend Knox, a student's family should anticipate annual increases in college costs of five to ten percent as well as fluctuations in currency exchange rates. To be eligible for the non-immigrant students visa (F-1), non-citizens must document adequate financial resources -- from family, sponsors and scholarships -- to meet the full costs of attending Knox. The availability of financial resources may be a factor of determining the admission of non-U.S. citizens who are academically qualified but do not meet financial requirements. Students should submit the Certification of Finances Form (PDF) to document these resources.
