Independent research, scholarship, and creative work are the hallmark of our educational program.
Knox ranks in the top 5% of higher education institutions in the nation to produce Ph.D. recipients relative to institutional size.

An estimated 85% of our students complete an independent research or creative project by the time they graduate, and 53% report working on a research project with a faculty member outside of course or program requirements -- much higher than the 37% reported at peer institutions.
