Alumni in Chemistry
Typically, about a third of Knox chemistry majors go on to medical careers, a third continue on to doctoral studies and careers in research and teaching, and a third enter the work force, usually in chemistry-related fields.
In recent years, chemistry graduates have gone on to doctoral programs at institutions such as Yale, Colorado, Stanford, MIT, Illinois, Purdue, the University of California at Berkeley, and Cornell.
