Delta Delta Delta

The Epsilon chapter of Delta Delta Delta at Knox was founded in 1889 and is the third oldest Tri Delta chapter.

The chapter members pride themselves on their scholarship, leadership, diversity and unity, and their members excel in many organizations and sports on campus. One of Delta Delta Delta's purposes is to uphold scholastic ideals, through avenues such as implementing a scholarship program in which they study together.

Accomplishments of the national Delta Delta Delta organization include...

  • being the first women's fraternity to be founded as a national organization with complete plans for governmental structure
  • being the first to plan a complete alumnae system
  • being the first to publish a book-length history, A Detailed Record of Delta Delta Delta, 1888-1907

Notable Delta Delta Deltas include...

  • Katie Couric
  • Farrah Fawcett
  • Grace Kelly

Delta Delta Delta also has two national philanthropies. Each year, the Epsilon chapter raises money for a Tri Delta scholarship and holds a fundraiser or service project to support children's cancer research and St. Jude's.
