International Student Orientation

We're glad you're coming to Knox!

The purpose of International Student Orientation is to ease your transition to living and studying in the United States. This program is provided as a supplement to New Student Orientation, and participation in both orientation programs is required for F-1 visa students. U.S. students from abroad are welcome to participate for an additional fee upon making reservations via email contact with the International Advisor.

When you come to the campus on September 2, please locate the International House (I-House) and come right in. Current students will be there to receive you and help you move in. Use the campus map to find your way or ask anyone you see for directions. We ask you to arrive only after noon on September 2 so that we may receive you properly.

International Student Orientation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on September 3. You will have a chance to rest and participate in optional activities on September 2. If a family member is able to come with you for orientation, they are welcome to join us. Please make lodging arrangements in Galesburg for your family as soon as possible.

Note: The dates below are correct for 2009, however the activities are subject to change.
