Counseling Services

Confidential counseling is available free of charge to all enrolled Knox College students, and provides an opportunity to talk with an objective professional about your concerns or problems. A wide range of concerns are brought to the Counseling Center including, but not limited to: adjustment to college, stress, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, alcohol/drug use, roommate conflicts and other emotional concerns. Referrals can be made to other counseling services in Galesburg.

Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visit the office, located on the back side of Furrow Residential Hall across from the soccer field, or contact us via phone 309-341-7492 or e-mail Dan Larson.
Emergency Contact:
Nights and weekends, please call Campus Safety at 309-341-7979 and they can assist you in reaching a Counselor.

Alcohol 101 Plus: is an interactive program set on a "virtual campus" addressing alcohol use in college. It gives students a chance to challenge their decision making and knowledge about the influences of alcohol on academics, friendships, and on their body.
