
Associate Dean of Students
Knox College invites applications for the position of Associate Dean of Students. This is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Senior Student Affairs Officer-Dean of Students with an expected start date of July 1, 2013. The Associate Dean of Students will collaborate with the Dean of Students and other senior members of the student development staff to provide leadership, direction, strategic planning, goal setting, and programming.
The Associate Dean will be a person of vision and energy who works with students on matters related to academic and personal concerns, as well as retention and transitional issues; administers the conduct system which includes investigation of sexual harassment and sexual assault allegations; provide direction and intervention for students in crisis and non-crisis situations; work with college staff and faculty to resolve student concerns; develop programming initiatives; develop and oversee the orientation programs which include summer communications; assist with matters related to Greek life; serve as an integral member of the student development team. We seek an individual who will work collaboratively to establish a 21st century model student development operation.
The Associate Dean will also be assigned duty during the week on a rotating basis and be available on an on-call basis evenings and weekends and should be willing and available to respond in person when the need arises.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with five to seven years of previous experience in higher education environment, Master's Degree preferred; exceptional interpersonal communication skills; ability to develop excellent rapport with students, faculty and staff; and ability to work independently.
Experience with and knowledge of student judicial systems, case management models, Title IX, student development theory, student advisement and/or student services is highly desired.

The Assistant Director will collaborate with the Director to provide direction, strategic planning and goal setting, programming, and delivery and evaluation of comprehensive career and internship services. The Assistant Director will engage alumni in providing networks and support to undergraduates; develop and cultivate internships and full-time opportunities with employers, alumni and parents; establish innovative programming to advance the career development of students; and serve as an integral team member in the Center. To support this plan, Knox seeks an enthusiastic, goal-oriented seasoned admission officer for the position of Associate Director of Admission. Working closely with the other Associate Directors and Dean of Admission, this Associate will be a key member of the admission team, contributing to developing, managing, and implementing recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment and revenue objectives. Specific responsibilities will be determined based on the experience of the candidate and may include managing the application review process, campus visit programs, data analysis and research, and/or other internal programmatic operations.
The Associate Director will also work within an assigned recruitment territory to achieve a high level of visibility for the College; identify well-matched candidates for admission; build relationships with high school counselors, alumni, prospective students, and parents; and guide students and their parents through the process of applying for admission and financial aid. You should be willing to travel up to 10-12 weeks per year and work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, on a regular basis during the academic year.

Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach
Knox College invites applications for the position of Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach. The position is full-time, 12 months, and begins no later than August 1, 2013. Salary and benefits for the position are competitive.

Responsibilities
The head coach is responsible for all aspects of both tennis programs including: organizing and implementing a successful recruiting/retention plan, integrating the tennis program into the campus community, supervising practices/contests, managing the program operating budget, and managing the program in accordance with department/college/MWC/NCAA rules and regulations. Additional duties will be assigned depending on qualifications of the selected candidate.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred, with at least two years of relevant experience. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and a commitment to the academic development of student-athletes. Experience in a residential liberal arts setting would also be beneficial.
