Information for Alumni

All of the resources available to Knox students are also available to alumni. This includes counseling on topics such as self-assessment, career exploration, job search strategies, resume & cover letter construction, and interviewing & negotiation skills. As well, Knox alumni are welcome to stop by to make use of the Center for Career and Pre-Professional Development's library and computer resources when on campus.

Credential Files
The Center for Career and Pre-Professional Development will forward your credential file to employers or graduate schools at a cost of $4 per institution. In order to place such an order, please call the Center at (309) 341-7494, fax a request to (309) 341-7708, or e-mail careers@knox.edu.

Please note that for education majors, all credential files that have been inactive for at least 10 years will be destroyed, with the exception of student teaching evaluations. For all other majors, files that have been inactive for at least three years will be destroyed.

If you wish the Center for Career and Pre-Professional Development to maintain your files beyond these dates, you may call or e-mail our office to reactivate your file at (309) 341-7494 or careers@knox.edu.
