Escort Services

The College makes a conscious effort to provide prompt and reliable assistance for safe movement throughout campus. When school is in session, Student Escort Officers on foot patrol offer personal escort service anywhere on campus. This service is available every night from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Campus Safety Officers provide escorts after hours. Call Campus Safety at extension 7979 for a safety escort.

Lock Outs

If you are locked out of your room, you can call the Office of Campus Safety, and we will respond as quickly as we can to assist you in retrieving your keys. Please make an honest effort to remember your keys and not let this become a continuous problem. Every lockout we have to respond to results in less time our officers are available to patrol campus and provide other services that benefit the safety and security of the Knox community.

All students are allowed 2 free lock outs per year, beginning September 1.  A $10.00 service charge is billed to your student account for the third and fourth lock outs, and for the fifth and each subsequent lock out a service charge of $50.00 is assessed.
