Veterans returning from Iraq, Afghanistan, and other duty stations will be able to attend Knox College tuition-free under the Veterans Administration's new Yellow Ribbon program. By joining the program, Knox agrees to provide additional financial assistance for veterans returning from service, ensuring that they have an opportunity to experience a private liberal arts college education. Douglas Johnston, founder and president of the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy, speaks on "Faith-Based Diplomacy in the Middle East and Pakistan," on March 27. Knox College has lost a long-time friend and coach. Tim Heimann '70 died Friday, March 13, 2009 at home. Heimann retired last year as head men's basketball coach. He worked at Knox for 37 years after graduating in 1970. Full Story
