Knox Fund Volunteers

The Knox Fund makes a tangible difference in students' lives every minute of every day. Volunteering for the Knox Fund helps you to stay connected to Knox and to your classmates. Each of us has our own best ways of being involved. Find yours. The following list is not exhaustive, but merely a stimulus to the imagination.

Class Agents
Class Agents are volunteers for development. With the assistance of the Knox Fund staff, Class Agents send one or two letters each year to their classmates to encourage them to make gifts to the Knox Fund. Staff provide printing, envelopes and postage. Personalized letters from peers are vital to a successful fundraising program.

To volunteer, contact Brian Gawor, associate director of the Knox Fund, toll free at 888-KNOXCOL (888-566-9265), or 309-341-7550. View a list of current Class Agents.

Reunion Campaigns
In addition to the class reunion activities at Homecoming, reunion classes make a special effort to increase their class's financial contribution to the College through increased gifts and increased class participation.  Help organize a Class Reunion.

Class reunion campaigns begin at the start of the fiscal year that marks the anniversary of a class's graduation from Knox and end at Homecoming. The results are announced at Homecoming in the fall. Reunion Campaign chairs work with Knox Fund staff and class committees to communicate the case for support of the Knox Fund. These committees of eight to 15 people contact their classmates by phone or e-mail to encourage class support of the Reunion Campaign and Knox.

To volunteer as a Reunion Campaign Chair or committee member, contact Brian Gawor, associate director of the Knox Fund, at 888-KNOXCOL (888-566-9265), or 309-341-7550. Learn more about Reunion Campaigns.

Knox Fund Steering Committee (KFSC)
The Knox Fund Steering Committee supports the annual effort by developing personal relationships with President's Circle donors. View a list of current  Knox Fund Steering Committee members.
