
Knox volleyball's team approach offers players the opportunity to compete, and also to be a part of a rising program. Prairie Fire volleyball is very team-oriented, working to develop not only the player's individual athletic skills, but also the skills of leadership, cooperation, dedication, and perseverance that will enhance the student's life longer after graduation from Knox.

Kelly Ricketts from Galesburg, Illinois (Galesburg High School), was named to the 2009-10 All-Midwest Conference Volleyball First Team on Monday, November 10th. The sophomore outside hitter led the Prairie Fire in kills, kills per game, total attempts and hitting percentage.

Coming into yesterday’s 2009 home finale, Frost needed 25 assists to move into 3rd place all time in Prairie Fire history for career assists. Frost did more than that, collecting 36 assists in a 4 set, 3-1 win over Eureka College.
