The men's tennis team is among the most successful sports programs in the history of Knox. Prairie Fire players are regularly ranked in the Midwest Region of the Illinois Tennis Association and consistently battle at the top of the conference standings.
The Prairie Fire men’s tennis team gave arguably their best team performance of the 2008-2009 season, with a commanding 7-2 victory over the Eureka College Red Devils on April 1 2009. The win marks the second of the season for the young Prairie Fire squad, who has now won two of their last three games.
