Erin Navolio has been named to the All-Midwest Conference Women's Basketball team. A junior guard from Hinsdale, Illinois (Hinsdale Central High School), Navolio started all 23 games and led the Prairie Fire with an average of 11 points per game and 42 steals throughout the season.

The junior guard led the Prairie Fire women's basketball team to an overtime victory December 5th at Lawrence University to give the Prairie Fire their first victory of the season.
The Knox College women's basketball team won in record setting fasion Tuesday January 20 beating Lincoln Christian College by a score of 77-18. The victory is the fourth on the season for the women's basketball team, giving them the most wins in a season since 2003-2004 with nine conference games remaining on the schedule.
The Prairie Fire women started off the 2009 Basketball homecoming celebration well with a 59-48 win over Lawrence University. It was the second time this season that the Prairie Fire beat the Vikings. The first time was at Lawrence on December 5, 2008 with a score of 66-63 in overtime.
