Help Organize a Class Reunion

All alumni are encouraged to "come home" to Knox for Reunion celebrations. Knox celebrates Reunions during Homecoming festivities each October. Reunion events are intermingled with the Homecoming events, including a class reception on Friday evening and class dinners on Saturday evening. Some Reunion classes plan other events to celebrate their return to campus, such as a tailgate before the football game, entertainment, or a Sunday brunch. Contact Alumni Relations if you would like to plan a special event for your next Reunion.

Milestone Reunion classes—5th, 10th, 25th, 30th, 40th, and 50th—also integrate gift campaigns into their Reunion planning and organize calling committees to invite classmates to Homecoming and to contribute to a class gift. A friendly competition among the milestone classes culminates at Homecoming Convocation, when the Ralph Walter and the Mary Scott trophies are awarded to the classes with the highest percent of classmates participating in the class gift and the class with the largest gift.

Contact the Office of Advancement if you would like to serve on your class's Reunion committee.
