Reunion

Homecoming 2009 has come and gone, and it was a great success. We hope those of you who attended had a wonderful time. The Reunion class campaigns are completed. All together you raised a total of $220,000 in gifts for Knox. Thank you all!

Campaign totals are calculated based on the dollar amount of all outright gifts processed between
July 1,
2008, and October 21, 2009, outright and pledged capital and endowment gifts of $10,000 or more, and irrevocable deferred gifts. Participation rates are calculated on the number of classmates making a gift of any size during the campaign period.

Classes competed for three awards:

  • The Ralph Walter Prize recognizes the class with the greatest percent participation. This was won by the class of 1959 with a participation of 53%.
  • The Mary Scott, class of 1881, Prize recognizes the class with the largest class gift. This was won by the Class of 1984 who gave nearly $100,000.
  • The Trustee Prize recognizes the class that makes the greatest percent increase in participation. This was won by the class of 1999. They increased participation by 44%, 28 new donors.
