Mikah Berky captured these photos while participating in the IES Dublin, Ireland Program. Mikah speaks of The River Liffey, (photo left) "The lights and liveliness of the city surrounding the ancient river captures an essence of Irish culture, expressing its juxtaposed tradition and modernity."


While participating in the study abroad program in New Zealand, Jen Milius was able to bring home photos of The Southern Alps and a bottlenose dolphin. In reminiscing about her trip, Jen said this of the Southern Alps, (picture left) "The way each layer of color interacts with the next-from the gold fields to the rolling green hills and snowy mountains, through the blue sky and the dark bit of could-seemingly holds the landscape in a creative tension."


Po Ling Pauline Chan took these photos while studying in Costa Rica. Pictured right is a First Communion ceremony where these girls come of age in their religion. Po Ling had the special opportunity to be part of this event as her host mother was their Communion teacher.


While in Italy Ellen Kokontis captured these photos. She speaks about The International Parade during Carnivale, (picture left) "This photograph captures the essence of intense color, motion, nationalism, and individuality we experienced at the International Parade, which is held in Florence every year in celebration of Carnivale."
