Educational Technology Resources at Knox
Knox College has a campus-wide, fiber-optic Ethernet network that links all academic buildings and student residences. Students have free, unlimited access to the Internet and World Wide Web, the library catalog, numerous software packages, networked laser printers and e-mail.

The College's library system is built around the curriculum and offers more than a quarter million books and 687 periodicals. With a new state-of-the-art library computer system accessible from remote sites around campus, Seymour library offers direct Internet access, as well as a wide range of on-line databases.

Knox has a number of public computer laboratories running Mac OS and Windows NT on Pentium and Power PC platforms. During the school year, Founders Lab in Seymour Union, a 50-station student computer center, is always open. The Stellyes Lab is used for projection-based teaching and class presentations, the Hughes Lab for scientific computing and imaging, and the Centel Data Analysis Lab for statistical work in the social sciences.
