Institutional Self-Study

Stacks of library books inside Seymour Library.

The self-study process at Knox was organized around major elements of the College's mission statement. The explicit goals embedded in the mission statement provided guideposts for assessing the accomplishments of the last ten years and of the challenges that lie ahead. The central chapters of the report on "Carrying Out the Mission" (chapters 5-9) are structured on the basis of these mission goals.

We have been committed from the start to making the self-study process meaningful and fruitful for the college community, while also meeting the requirements of the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Making the report readily available on the web is part of our effort to share the results of the extended self-study process with both the Knox community and the larger world of higher education.
